I have been hunting for close to 14 years. I grew up in the Adirondacks hunting deer with the guidance of my father and grandfather. At age 16 I started my addiction for turkey hunting. I began teaching myself and it was tough learning on those Adirondack birds. I have not looked back since and if I was asked to pick an animal to hunt for the rest of my life, I would say turkey without hesitation! I moved to Northern New York about 6 years ago and added waterfowl to my outdoor pursuits. I have just fallen in love with the abundance of game here.
I enjoy sharing the Outdoors with my wife, kids and friends. I’ve had the great pleasure of taking out young hunters and I get just as much enjoyment out of their success as if I were doing the shooting. I am looking forward to sharing my passion for the outdoors with my son Rex V and daughter Olive in the next few years. I also enjoy fishing for many of the various species abundant here in New York. My biggest buck is a 200 lb, 110 inch 8 point taken with a bow in 2008. I have killed over 20 turkeys and the biggest being a 22 lb Tom with a 10 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs. Since joining the Mountain Hollow Game Calls pro-staff I have been fortunate enough to meet people that love the outdoors just as much as me!
