Hi, I am Ken Hammel, Owner of Mountain Hollow Game Calls Inc. and I would like to take a moment to share with you some of my hunting experiences. I have been hunting for over 30 years and have hunted 17 states and three Canadian Provinces. I have been able to harvest black bear, caribou, elk,and moose and my favorites are the whitetail deer and the wild turkey.
The largest whitetail deer to date that I have harvested is a 21 point buck that scored 189 7/8 ( gross), I grunted him in using a Mountain Hollow Deer Call. You might have read about it in the Buckmasters magazine ( Sept. 94 issue).
The heaviest turkey to date is a 22 1/2 pounder, with a 10 inch beard and 1 5/8″ spurs I called him in using a combination
of calls, a Killer Cutter IV diaphragm mouth call and our most popular Double Talk Friction Call. I have been using and building calls for most of my 33 years of hunting. No matter what game I am hunting I am never in the woods without using calls or scents.
One of my favorite past times is listening to a hunter or reading his or her story in letters they send me, about an animal that they have harvested using a Mountain Hollow Game Call or scent.
As we enter into our 30th year in the business, our products, packaging and knowledge still continue to grow. We are very proud of our business and customer base. You, our customers, have made this possible. To you we say “Thank You.” As we continue to grow in the Deer Lures & Scent business. We are one of the few companies out there to have one year shelf life on our urines. We don’t believe in additives. Why? “It’s Just Not Natural” Simple! Deer hunters everywhere that have tried our scents agree that they are the best on the market and we will continue to have our scents & lures stay that way!
